The Operational Nightmare

Managing IT and document infrastructure for a national engineering and construction conglomerate is exceptionally difficult. Before partnering with NuWays, the client was struggling with a decentralized procurement nightmare. Each of their 50+ remote construction sites was independently sourcing its own desktop printers, A3 multifunction devices, and consumable supplies from local, unverified vendors.

This fragmented approach led to wild inconsistencies in hardware quality. Rugged construction environments—characterized by high dust, fluctuating temperatures, and heavy-duty usage—quickly destroyed consumer-grade printers. When a printer went down at a remote site, the printing of critical A3 engineering blueprints was delayed, which cascaded into project delays and idle workforce hours. Furthermore, the central finance team had absolutely no visibility into the actual total cost of ownership (TCO) across these sites.

NuWays was brought in to execute a massive consolidation and standardization strategy. After a comprehensive audit of their national operations, we replaced the entire fragmented fleet with standardized, enterprise-grade, rugged multifunction printers engineered specifically to withstand challenging environments.

More importantly, we transitioned the client from a decentralized, chaotic procurement model to a strict, centrally managed Cost-Per-Page (CPP) operational model. The client now receives a single, predictable monthly invoice that covers all 50+ sites. Hardware deployment, proactive toner replenishment, and rapid on-site maintenance are now completely absorbed into the contract, requiring zero effort from the client's internal IT team.
